This is something that the young Ben Franklin came up with. I've always liked it. (His actual epitaph was much less creative).

Lies Here, Food for Worms.
But the Work shall not be Lost;
For it will (as he Believ'd) Appear once More
In a New and More Elegant Edition

That's awesome. Almost as cool as Vonnegut's. His says, "So it goes."
there's a movie line (or it's in a book, i just can't remember) that goes:
Death is but a doorway. I shall return.
